Windham Schools have adopted many educational initiatives with the purpose of positively affecting classroom instruction by providing teachers with appropriate content and data to inform their daily teaching decisions. These educational initiatives include the implementation of Preschool-12 curriculum maps in math and English language arts and a comprehensive assessment system that lets us know how students are progressing day to day.
Windham Public Schools is a learning organization that continuously encourages faculty and staff to shift leadership and instructional practices with the goal of improving instructional practice in the classroom. In this way, we value adult learning as well as student learning.
