As you may have seen on our website, WHS students recently presented their Voice4Change proposals to Governor Lamont and Commissioner Russell-Tucker. Voice4Change is a program that gives high school students across Connecticut a voice in how a portion of the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief funds are spent. WHS students recently voted for one of four projects to benefit the high school. The results were announced on Friday, April 8, and Project Courtyard received the most votes. This project will be funded through the CSDE (Connecticut State Department of Education). The Project Courtyard proposal will update the existing courtyard, providing social and emotional health benefits for students and staff.

Voces-para-Cambio: (Voces-para-Cambio)
Es posible que haya visto en nuestro sitio web, los estudiantes de WHS presentaron recientemente sus propuestas de Voces-para-Cambio al Gobernador Lamont y al Comisionado Russell-Tucker. Voces-para-Cambio es un programa que brinda a los estudiantes de secundaria de todo Connecticut una voz sobre cómo se gasta una parte de los fondos de Ayuda de Emergencia de las Escuelas Primarias y Secundarias del Plan de Rescate Americano. Los estudiantes de WHS votaron recientemente por uno de los cuatro proyectos para beneficiar a la escuela secundaria. Los resultados se anunciaron el viernes 8 de abril y Proyecto Patio (Project Courtyard) recibió la mayoría de los votos.
