Yesterday in the Mohegan Sun Arena, the Windham High School Boys’ Basketball team won their Division State Championship. This is the first time in 81 years that Windham has won the state title and we are beyond excited for them! Congratulations to the Whippets Boys’ Basketball Team, their coaches, families, teachers and devoted fans!
Mayor Tom Devivo would like to celebrate this amazing accomplishment with a town walking parade that will kick off at Windham High School at 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 22nd. The parade will walk up High Street onto Main Street and will end at Shaboo Stage where we will celebrate Windham High School’s student athletes and showcase our state champion basketball team!
