Former Windham Whippet Herman Pomales '22, is part of the Glazier Apprenticeship Program. He was invited to speak at a recent press conference with Governor Lamont about his experience with the program. This was in association with the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT). Mr. Pomales joined a job shadowing program through Downes Construction during his senior year of high school. After graduation, he was chosen for the apprenticeship program, after which he returned to the halls of Windham High School to work on the renovation project.
So who says you can't go home....?
